Electric Daisy Carnival scheduled in Vegas
February 26, 2013 by Mark
Never at a loss for bright lights and action, Las Vegas will maintain that reputation when the city brings the 17th annual Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) back to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway venue this summer.
With attendance expected to exceed 320,000 music fans, EDC is reported to be the largest music event in North America across all genres. The hot summer desert skies of Las Vegas will be alight with popular bands, performers and artists, thousands of people in wild costumes and carnival rides. The event is dubbed ‘The Total Insomniac Experience’, as it takes place from dusk until dawn with attendees rarely sleeping, and is presented by Insomniac Events.
Tickets are on sale for the Las Vegas EDC 2013 festival right now. This year, only three-day weekend passes will be sold, not individual day passes. The event organizers have layaway and VIP options available as well, which can be viewed on their website.
Huge musical events like the EDC require massive efforts in organizing and presenting the festival, with hundreds of people and companies involved. Print companies have large projects to handle in preparing marketing and management materials. Posters, flyers, and brochures are printed far in advance of each year’s event to ensure mass coverage and publicity for the festival.
The Electric Daisy Carnival has garnered global attention through social media sites, their company websites, and online communities. Many images and videos are available to peruse to gain an understanding of what makes this event so special and well-attended.
It all takes place over the weekend of June 21 – 23.
