Chili event to bring the heat next month

February 21, 2017 by

Zach’s Chili Challenge is taking place in early March, raising funds for the Morgan Adams Foundation, which helps to finance pediatric cancer research.

The theme of the event is ‘Bring the Heat, Bring the Hope’. Chefs from some of the area’s restaurants will be competing in four categories to see who makes the best chili in town. There will also be six beer categories and six spirits categories to find which person makes the best drinks. The public will be able to taste as many items as they wish, and vote of their favorite by depositing vouchers at the table. The final decisions will be made by celebrity judges.

There will be raffle draws every 30 minutes, which will culminate in a grand prize drawing at the end of the night. Musical entertainment will also be provided during the evening by a DJ.

Ticketholders will receive a tasting glass, voting vouchers, and raffle tickets. VIP tickets are available and also include early entry to the event, extra raffle tickets, and access to a private lounge.

Area stationery printers, including those from nearby Lakewood, are often asked to provide raffle tickets to events such as this.

Zach’s Chili Challenge will be held at the McNichols Civic Center Building in Denver on March 4 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM. Tickets a $50 for general admission and $100 for VIP. Call 303-758-2130 to find out more information.
