Hours extended for Friday Art Walk

August 31, 2013 by

First Friday’s Gallery Walk features more than 20 galleries in Downtown Fort Collins with the majority extending their hours and opening their doors to the public for viewing of special art displays. Poster printing and other printing services may have been used to advertise and promote this artisan event to people in this community and the surrounding districts.

The public is invited to tour the galleries and view the works of art being displayed by creative-minded folk from the local area. Some galleries display regional, national, and international works and provide guests with plenty of time to wander through the various location to enjoy the exhibits.

During the evening, many of the artisans and gallery owners will be available to share their expert opinions with the public and many of the galleries offer snacks and beverages. This is a self-guided tour and some of the galleries participating include Art on Mountain Art, Canyon Spirit Gallery, The Center for Fine Art Photography, Coco Artist Studio, Global Village Museum of Arts and Culture, and Juiced on Imagination. Guests are invited to tour the downtown, enjoy the exhibits, and visit the businesses offering food and beverages.

This is a free self-guided tour for everyone. First Friday’s Gallery Walk will be happening on Friday, September 6th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in downtown Fort Collins, Colorado. To learn more about this event, or where to pick up a tour map, please visit the Downtown Fort Collins website or call the office during business hours.
