Farm fest to get to the heart of the matter

September 26, 2013 by

Coming up in just over a week, the 6th Annual Heart of the Farm Festival is a fundraising event to benefit Feeding the Families and includes something for everyone. This event is sponsored by Friends of Happy Heart Farm, which is likely to have consulted poster and flyer printing companies in the area to make the event well-known to the public.

This event is staged to assist families in need of food, including low-income families. Foods provided through this program are organically grown or produced locally, and offer healthy choices. During this fundraiser, there will be a selection of music by locally known act The Holler, as well as a silent auction featuring an assortment of baked goods, including delicious homemade pies.
Advance tickets offer the biggest cost savings, so the organizers recommend for attendees to buy their tickets ahead of the event. Tickets can be purchased online and cost $10 per person or $30 for a family of up to four in advance. Alternatively, those paying on the door will be charged $15 per person or $40 for a family.

The 6th Annual Heart of the Farm Festival will be occurring on Saturday, October 5, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Avogadro’s Number located at 605 S. Mason Street in Fort Collins, Colorado. To purchase tickets, or find out more about the activities planned for the day, please visit the Friends of the Happy Heart Farm website or call 970-988-3464.
