Pots of money to be saved at local event
January 10, 2014 by James
‘Pots by the Pound’ is being presented the Commonwheel Artists Co-op and is an annual event offering pottery lovers the opportunity to save big money at a special clearance show and sale. People from the area may have learned about this sale through the use of poster printing, as this is often a format through which local shows are promoted.
This event happens every January and offers clear-out prices for art lovers and big bargain shoppers in the form of secondhand pottery, as well as a number of other surplus art items. All the products available at this sale are at discount prices, but unlike the traditional clear-out sale, all wares have their price determined by their weight. Each item for sale is labeled with a different colored sticker that marks the weight by the pound. Scales will then be used to price the items purchased
This year, there is a huge selection from which to choose. The show and sale will be restocked throughout the event offering various new and interesting products.
Pots by the Pound got underway last weekend and runs until Monday, January 27, at the Commonwheel Artists Co-op located at 102 Canon Avenue in Manitou Springs, Colorado, right down the road from Colorado Springs. For additional information about this special show and sale, visit the Co-op website or call the business during regular hours. There is no change to attend or park a vehicle at the venue.
