Political Engagement Luncheon hosted in March
March 3, 2012 by Sarah
Colorado Springs-based professionals have a chance to get involved with the political process through the upcoming Political Engagement Luncheon and the professional exchange group meeting taking place this month.
In the case of these two events, the exchange group will be the first one with a start date of the 12th. Going through lunch hour with an expected 11:30 am to 1:00 pm timeframe, business owners are invited to come to this meeting and discuss the issues that are impacting them the most. Whether the goal is to talk about big picture subjects like the economy or something more specific like the logistics of flyer printing campaigns, this is a great opportunity to pick the brains of other experienced professionals.
With the only fee being the cost of buying a meal at Big House Sports, entrepreneurs and businesspeople in Colorado Springs may want to think about regularly attending these bi-weekly events.
A little over a week later on the 20th, members of the business community have the option of attending the Political Engagement Luncheon through Chamber Rising Professionals. With elections coming up this year, this is a chance for businesspeople to take a break and get advice on how they can ensure that their voices are heard in Colorado Springs. In addition, Brandy Williams from City Council will also be present to talk about how she successfully ran for office as a young person. During this luncheon, Chamber Rising Professionals will also be announcing a new program.
Either way, local business owners have plenty to look forward to.
