Holidays to waltz in

November 11, 2012 by

The ‘Waltzing through the Holidays’ concert is being performed by the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony and will feature music from advanced young musicians, conducted by Gary Nicholson. Promising to be an excellent family event, the vast selection of music will be fit for the season.

During this event, the Wolfgang Strings will play in the lobby before the main holiday concert begins. Guests will hear all of their favorites, including the Nutcracker, Snow, and Sleighbells, plus many other seasonal numbers. Seating for this concert costs $18 to $20 for the best available, orchestra, box, and mezzanine seated costing $20. Other activities and food venues will be available prior to and following the performances, so guests are bound to enjoy the festivities and the great music being offered by the youths of this community.

The Youth Symphony is now in its 33rd year and encourages young musicians through strings programs – featuring cellos, violins, violas, and basses, and orchestras.Poster printing, flyer printing, and brochure printing may have been among the methods chosen for promoting this particular youth symphony concert to this community and others in the surrounding areas.

The Waltzing through the Holidays concert is being held on Friday, November 30, starting at 6:20 pm at the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts located at 190 South Cascade Avenue in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
