Colorado Springs spreads winter joy

December 3, 2012 by

The ‘Christmas Joy Concert’ is a merry tradition held in Colorado Springs each year. The special Yuletide concert has something for everyone in the family, as they may have noted on flyers created by print companies posted throughout the community as this year’s event approaches.

This is an annual presentation by the Pikes Peak Center and features the outstanding Sanctuary Choir, the renowned and exciting hand bell ensemble, and the Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale.

This year, as always, the Pikes Peak Ringers will be accompanied by a jazz band and full orchestra. Other groups that will be present for this holiday event include the Ballet Emmanuel, a Celtic band, 150 voice First Pres choir, a 17-piece big band performance, bagpipe and drum band, and a full orchestra. Any lover of the holiday season who enjoys the fantastic music that accompanies it is sure to love this outstanding evening of musical presentation and showmanship.

Many printing services may have been used to make this evening a roaring success by assisting with promoting it to this community and some of the other communities located in and round this area. Ticket prices range from $14 to $22 depending on seating selection.

The Christmas Joy Concert will be taking place this Sunday, December 9, starting at 2:30 pm at the Pikes Peak Center located at 190 S. Cascade Avenue in Colorado Springs, Colorado. To book tickets, please visit the Pikes Peak Center website or call the box office at 719-884-6144.
