Colorado Springs band performing live at the Thirsty Parrot

For those who desire live music and cheap drinks, the local Colorado Springs Big Jazz Band will be performing at the Thirsty Parrot.

Even though the venue probably has a few pieces of flyer printing around, it’s worth pointing out that this jazz band has been providing regular entertainment for a while now.

Originally formed over 20 years ago, the members of Big Jazz Band have not wasted time developing their stage presence. From the outset, it was clear that this Big Jazz Band had the skills and abilities needed to become a force.

That being said, putting in a performance at the Thirsty Parrot is no small feat. Known for its reasonably priced food and long history of recruiting the best live talents, the Bar & Grill speaks of itself this way:

“Yes, there are cover and tribute bands, but the Thirsty Parrot has also hosted packed performances by Jason Derülo and Billy Bob Thornton (not together). The upstairs space also has top-notch acoustics well-suited for its popular Wednesday evening big band performances.”

It’s worth stating that patrons have certainly been impressed by the Colorado Springs Big Jazz Band before. What makes this particular set-up so intriguing however, is the Thirsty Parrot’s emphasis on making sure the live acts are a fun time for all.

Although the December 14th performance is supposed to take place from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., this isn’t the last chance people will have to see the Big Jazz Band. They’ll be at the Thirsty Parrot Bar & Grill for both the 21st and 28th as well.
