Chamber looks to start month strongly

The Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce has wasted no time in making sure that members of the local business community are getting every available opportunity to learn more about how they can expand their businesses and better communicate with prospects this month.

Starting almost immediately on May 2nd, the Chamber is going to be hosting an information-filled all day event in the “2012 Small Business Outreach Event”. An important part of having steady work as a company is being able to acquire customers who are in need of repeat business.

Where prospective clients that are always requiring products and services are concerned, they don’t come much bigger than the United States federal government. From 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, local professionals will be at the Antlers Hilton Hotel learning about how they too can begin the process of doing business with the government.

Less than a week later on the 8th, there’s a Chamber University event being held. Going under a descriptive title like “Who is Your Target Market…Finding Your Ideal Customer”, it’s immediately clear that this workshop is going to be one that’s touching on an important subject.

Whether management prefers poster printing or the use of flyer printing, it doesn’t mean a thing unless the team is connecting with qualified prospects. Over the course of this short workshop, Bernard Sandoval of Sandia Marketing and Advertising will be showing Colorado Springs business owners how to identify the individuals who are most likely interested in what they have to offer.

Those attending either one of these events will have to register soon.
