ReENERGYze Business Breakfast takes place June 6
June 1, 2012 by James
Boulder’s business community has a nice amount of variety to choose from with a City-sponsored Business Breakfast as well as two other informative workshops showing up on the calendar.
Things kick off fairly early with the Small Business Development Center hosting “Business Plan Essentials” on June 5. Whether discussing the value of ordering certain printing services or deciding how many new workers to hire, having a plan is an important part of ensuring a company’s long-term success. Covering the fundamentals of using a well-written plan to sort out strategies, “Business Plan Essentials” will ensure that attendees leave with more information than they came in with.
The following day, June 6, the City of Boulder will be holding the “ReENERGYze Your Business” breakfast. Starting at 7:30 am and ending at 9:00 am, the subject of this meeting is going to be about how a company can use its energy more efficiently. As most decision makers are well aware, it’s not always easy to keep a handle on the costs of energy and water bills. Going in-depth into the ways in which attendees can properly evaluate a company’s use of energy, this will also teach how to save money long-term in the process.
Closer to the end of the month, the Small Business Development Center is hosting another extended workshop in “Start-Up Essentials.” Beginning at 1:00 pm and ending three and a half hours later at 4:30 pm, this is as good a chance as any for entrepreneurs to learn more about the legal aspects of getting a company off the ground.
