For local business professionals, the Boulder Chamber of Commerce has gone above and beyond in making sure that its members have several constructive events to attend this month.

Things start off pretty quickly with the first installment of the Small Business Development Center’s “Business Planning for Start-ups” series. Beginning on April 10th, business owners and future entrepreneurs are invited to in and hear what various experts have to say about the process of setting up and running a business.

Covering everything from the formation of a marketing plan and working out the logistics of choosing a legal structure, to the basics of researching a company’s target demographic, these courses are filled to the brim with great content.

While this series is continuing to take place, the Chamber is also going to be a hosting a luncheon on the 18th of April. The topic of the Boulder 2140 April Luncheon is going to be none other than “Personal Branding via Social Media for Career Building and Change”.

No matter what kind of expertise an individual happens to have, the Internet has made it possible to get in front of prospective business partners and clients. Through a combination of digital business cards and a static website, it’s possible to accomplish a lot by taking individual marketing efforts online.

Between the April Luncheon and the Small Business Development Center series, Boulder entrepreneurs and professionals have plenty to look forward to over the course of the next few weeks. There’s no harm in seeing what these presentations are about.
