Jayme More to share her writing journey

January 18, 2013 by

Jayme Moye, an award-winning travel writer, will be present this weekend to teach guests how to take any trip and turn it into a creative narrative using basic elements from the journey. This is a great course for anyone who wants to learn how to create a great travel article on a personal or professional level.

Moye broke into the travel writing field by first having several of her travel articles published in some outstanding magazines. She did this without having any journalistic education or experience in her background. Today, she is the Managing Editor of Elevation Outdoors based in Boulder and is the former Editor for Women’s Adventures, Women’s Health Backpacker, Outside Men’s Journal, Runner’s World, and many publications. Through this workshop, guests will learn how to write creatively and make their trip an adventure story that others will love to read. Seating for this course is limited; therefore advance registration is required. This workshop is open to people of all ages and will show those interested how to make money using their obtained writing skills.

Registration for this workshop is $40 per person and guests must sign up in advance. Tickets can be purchased at the store. Travel Writing for Pleasure and Profit with Jayme Moye is happening on tomorrow, January 19, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Boulder Book Store located at 1107 Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado. To register or learn more, please visit the Downtown Boulder website or call the store at 303-447-2074 during normal business hours.
