Fresh offering in form of farmers’ market

April 10, 2013 by

Families will soon have the opportunity to buy fresh farm produce for the family table, as the Boulder Farmers’ Market opens for 2013 this weekend.

The grand opening for the season has plenty of activities plan, with produce available for family enjoyment. Poster printing and flyer printing have probably been used to share this opening with people from this community and the surrounding towns.

Situated in a truly stunning location, the Boulder Farmers Market offers fresh organic produce, meats, flowers, and fruits, pastries from a local bakery, plants, and gourmet cheeses. There is also a wide selection of wines available. People can also enjoy an entire meal created by some of the local chefs.

The Boulder Farmers Market is a non-profit corporation that sells directly to the public, and it will feature more than 150 local vendors this year, including professional farmers, weekend farmers, backyard gardeners, hobbyists, and artisans, all with something special to offer the public. The market will also feature homemade soaps, wreaths, potpourri, and other farm related crafts, plus honey, prepared foods, roasted chilies, and beverages.

There is no fee to enter the market, which opens this Saturday, April 16, at 8:00 am at Central Park located on 13th Street, between Canyon and Arapahoe, in Boulder, Colorado. Open every Wednesday and Saturday, the midweek market is open from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Parking is available and is free after 3:00 pm.
