Boulder meal to showcase local foods

Those who want to find out more about the sorts of foods the Boulder area has to offer may wish to mark their calendars for an upcoming culinary event. Its date also makes it an option for a special Valentine’s dinner.

For its Dinner on the Bridge, the city’s Seeds Library Café will be expanding on its customary menu of light refreshments, sandwiches and salads and providing diners with a five-course meal. According to its organizers, the selections will be prepared by some of the city’s top chefs, and will showcase fruits, vegetables and other products supplied by local farmers.

In addition to the food, there will be live music to enjoy as well as a complementary cocktail, specially prepared appetizers, and more. Guests can enjoy socializing while they take in a view of Boulder Creek and savor all the dishes that have been prepared for them. A company that produces custom drinkware can supply souvenir wine glasses and other items that can be given to each guest who attends a function such as this.

Dinner on the Bridge will be hosted by Seeds Library Café on February 14th. Tickets are $50.00 per person, and they, along with further details, can be obtained by calling 720-201-8372 or by visiting the café, which can be found in the Boulder Public Library located at 1001 Arapahoe Avenue.
