Advanced digital photography class planned for Boulder

September 5, 2016 by

Amateur and professional photographers alike are invited to participate in an upcoming Boulder class that will give them the skills they need to make full use of their digital SLR camera’s functions, features, and shooting modes.

The participants in the workshop will receive instruction in a variety of areas, including aperture priority mode, spot metering, program mode, recap expose control, shutter priority mode, and understanding histograms. Common camera accessories, and how to make the most of them, will also be discussed.

The cost to take part in the tutorial has been set at $59 each, which includes a $10 coupon that can be used towards the purchase of anything available in store at any location of Mike’s Camera. A company that produces marketing products, such as promotional pens, can create ones to give to each person who participates in the instructional session.

The class will be held at Mike’s Camera, which is located at 2500 Pearl St in Boulder. It has been scheduled for October 25, running from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm. Those who sign up are asked to indicate which kind of camera they will be bringing with them to use.

Further details about the event, as well as an opportunity to register, can be found the Eventbrite listing that has been created for the class.
