Plenty to be found in Kent
September 30, 2012 by Mark
The Kent Chamber of Commerce will be presenting its annual showcase next week. This year, the event is named ‘Find It in Kent’ and will feature a ShoWare collection of Kent businesses. This initiative is to promote and support local Kent businesses, as well as jobs available in the area.
The goal is to encourage guests who attend to shop locally in Kent, which in turn will keep the tax dollars within the community. People are invited to come out for the evening to learn what Kent businesses have to offer. For businesses in Kent, the Chamber of Commerce is accepting sign-ups and has many sponsorship opportunities available.
This event used to be called the ‘Business Expo’ but has since had a name change. This is the fourth annual business event of this kind at ShoWare. There is no need for the public to register to attend this event, although attendees will no doubt find that Kent has more to offer than they might have thought.
Flyer printing and poster printing may have been used to advertise and promote this expo to residents and members of the business community. Admission to ‘Find It in Kent’ is free for guests. Chamber member’s business booths cost $225, while non-chamber members pay $400. This showcase is happening on Wednesday, October 3, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm and will be taking place at the ShoWare Center located at 625 W. James Street in Kent, Washington. For updates or additional details, please visit the Kent Chamber of Commerce website or call 253-854-1770 during normal business hours.
