Duluth companies make it into 2013 Bulldog 100

March 10, 2013 by

A total of 12 companies from Gwinnett County have made it into this year’s UGA Alumni Association’s 2013 Bulldog 100, including representatives from Duluth.

Acting as recognition of the fastest growing businesses owned by alumni of the University of Georgia (UGA), it is worthy of shouting about and could well be worth the organization’s managers having the award included in the latest round of business card printing .

Referencing the achievement of being included in the top 100, the UGA Alumni Association director of communications, Stan Jackson, said in a statement:

“With more than 700 nominations for the 2013 Bulldog 100, businesses included on the list have proven to be highly competitive, successful companies.

“We are pleased to congratulate the Gwinnett companies and UGA alumni recognized with this honor and look forward to seeing their continued growth in the future.”

The highest-rated Duluth-based company was Innovative Outdoors. A landscape and outdoor design company, it has won a number of high-profile awards over recent years.

Across Gwinnett, the highest ranked company was Sovereign Systems. The IT Consultancy ranked number three in the list. Other local businesses that made the century this year included Asa Carlton, Inc., RIA Solutions, NovoLogic, Inc., and FineLine Technolgies

An annual list, to qualify for consideration for the top 100, businesses need to have traded for a minimum of five years. The alumni section of the UGA website gives the full list of the companies to have made it into this year’s Bulldog 100.
