Good cause to be supported through inexpensive gifts

November 26, 2012 by

The holidays are almost here and most people have already started to think of what gifts to buy for their friends and family. The Winter Craft Fair in Hermitage should have lots to offer those who are still looking for gifts.

Many people want to get a gift that suits the personality of the person and is unique, but many do not have a lot of money to spend. That is where arts and craft fairs like this come in handy. They offer unique, handmade items usually for a fraction of the cost you would pay in a store, yet maintaining high quality.

The Winter Craft Fair will feature arts and crafts vendors and direct sales vendors. The former will no doubt be selling such things as handmade jewelry, knitted items, paintings, pottery, and ceramics. Direct sales vendors, meanwhile, might include such brands as Avon and Pampered Chef. There will also be a silent auction with proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Association.

Vendors, who will likely come from all over the area, including nearby Hermitage, might decide to work with Hermitage printing companies to produce a flyer to be distributed to their current customers. That flyer could contain a money-off coupon, which could only help to draw more people to attend the fair.

The Winter Craft Fair will take place at the iXL Rehab and Fitness Center on December 8 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. For more information, contact Elaine Wolfgang at 724-662-1776.
