Now that it’s April the weather has been getting better and people’s willingness to venture outside has been increasing as well. With occasions like Chick-A-Pa-Looza and the Springtime Book Fair & Signing Event coming up, this is definitely a good thing for all the organizers involved.
Starting with “Chick-A-Pa-Looza” on the 21st and 22nd of April, Riverhead residents have an excellent opportunity to take the kids out for a great time while learning a few sustainable living skills in the process. With a variety of farm animals to choose from that include chickens, lambs, bunnies, and a pony, this event is also going to feature crafts so there’s no question that there will be plenty to occupy the kids. For the adults, the Chick-A-Pa-Looza is going to include a series of practical workshops for those who would like to be a little more independent. Whether looking at starting a garden or building a chicken coop, there’s plenty to be said for attending this one.
For those who love a slightly more low-key event, the Long Island Author’s Group is hosting its ’4th Springtime Book Fair & Signing Event’. Likely utilizing the printing services of a local print company to produce the flyers and bookmarks that are sure to be given out here, this is a great opportunity for authors to meet and interact with people while enjoying some intelligent conversations and refreshments. Being held April 22nd from noon until 4:00 pm, this event will also feature prizes.
As far as branding and marketing goes, organizers have done a great job with these two events.
