Second outlet mall coming to area
January 2, 2013 by Mark
An announcement for plans to construct a second outlet mall in Sunbury, about 25 miles northeast of dublin, was made recently by the Craig Realty Group out of Orange County, California.
The outlet center is planned to be located off of I-71 and to the south of the intersection at Routes 36 and 37. The Tanger Outlet Mall, a development by Tanger Outlet Centers and the Simon Property Group, is planned for the same area. The announcement for that outlet center came only a matter of weeks before the Craig Reality Group’s announcement.
The mall announced by the Craig Reality Group will be located in the NorthGate Centre, which is on the west and east of I-71. Steven L. Craig, CEO and President of the Craig Realty Group, stated:
“After almost two years of research, including dialogue with community building authorities and conducting transportation studies, we believe we have found the ideal location for the new center.”
As the two new outlet malls move into the area, local printing companies might expect to stay busy as new businesses move into the spaces at the mall and in the surrounding area. New shops, boutiques and other stores will likely require business card printing , catalog printing, poster printing, and other printing services as they open up for business.
The building for the mall announced by the Craig Realty Group is estimated to be approximately 350,000 square feet in size. The large mall will house both local and national retailers. Plans for the groundbreaking are expected sometime late this year or early next year. The Tanger mall is scheduled for completion by the end of 2014.
