New and vintage toys arrive in time for Christmas

November 29, 2012 by

Toys are always popular but never more so than at Christmas. Everyone wants to get their kids the perfect toy that will bring them hours of pleasure, and parents remember fondly some of the toys of their youth and may wish they could introduce their children to those toys. The Tinley Park Holiday Toy Show might just be the place to do that.

The show features new, vintage, and collectible toys for sale. This annual show draws people from neighboring states and communities, such as nearby Orland Park. Organizers no doubt work with local printing companies to produce marketing products such as flyers to get the word out about this popular annual show.

There will be over 250 tables selling die-cast cars, Barbie dolls, GI Joe dolls, toy robots, model kits, action figures, and other collectible items. Basically, any kind of toy that might appeal to the general public will be there. Those who wish to sell toys can rent an eight-foot table for $50. Those who have not yet started their Christmas shopping are sure to find something at the show and those who need that one piece to complete a collection might be pleasantly surprised.

The Tinley Park Holiday Toy Show will take place at Tinley Park High School this Sunday, December 2, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Tickets are $6 for adults or $2 for those aged 6 – 12. Preview admission is $20 and allows shoppers to get into the show at 7:30 am.
