Santa and Mrs. Claus to be busy in Lansing this December
November 30, 2012 by James
As the holidays approach, there are more and more events taking place in various communities throughout the United States which celebrate Christmas. For most children, the most important part of Christmas is Santa Claus, and kids in the Lansing area will have a couple of chances to meet Santa and to talk to him.
For a start, The Santa House is already open and will be until December 22. There will be lots of events taking place there during the month of December and many chances to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Another event occurring nearby will be Christmas in the Park, presented by the Village of Glenwood Park, which will take place at Strand Park in Glenwood. Children and their parents will get the chance to meet Santa, will be served hot chocolate and cookies, and will get to play various games and take part in many fun activities. Those who bring a non-perishable food item to donate will be entered into a draw for a prize. Christmas in the Park will take place on December 7 from 6:30 am – 8:00 am.
The next day, December 8, there will be a Pancake Breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the T.F. South School in lansing from 7:00 am – 11:00 am. The breakfast is sponsored by the Lansing Chamber of Commerce and Copper Muggers.
These are just a few of the many events taking place and organizers will probably be working with Lansing print companies to let the community know about them.
