Arbor Day on the way

The Arbor Day 10K Run invites people to come out and enjoy the smells, sounds, and sights of springtime in a natural and beautiful setting, but they will need to register for it no later than 6:00 pm today if they wish to do so online and pay less.
This challenging USA Track and Field (USATF) course take place on rolling terrain on the East Side Main Route and offers participants free admission to explore 1,700 acres as well as the Children’s Garden, an award winning creation. Poster printing and banner printing may have been chosen to promote this run to local residents.
For people who are not members, memberships must be purchased with race registration, although it includes one-year membership to Morton Arboretum. This fundraising race will benefit the Arboretum’s mission of planting and protecting trees. Entrants will be divided by age category and awards will be presented for the overall female and male winners, and the top three finishers in each gender.
Race results will be posted by 2:00 pm race day at the My Chicago Athlete website. Various amenities locations are available on the route, including a ChronoTrack B-Tag system, and recovery foods, as well as a technical T-shirt at the time of registration.
The cost is $30 members, $35 for non-members, and $40 on registration day. Membership packages cost $74 dollars and include race fees. The run will be held this Sunday, April 21, with registration beginning at 6:30 am and the race starting at 8:00 am at the Morton Arboretum Visitor Center in Lisle, Illinois, just a short drive from Hickory Hills.
