Free parking offered in Studio City
December 10, 2012 by James
As the holiday shopping season takes to the streets of Studio City this year, shoppers in the area are faced with the added challenge of parking their vehicles. However, in an effort to support local businesses and encourage community members to do their Christmas gift shopping with local retailers, the Studio City Improvement Association is providing free parking in the Improvement Association’s garage.
The Business Improvement District (BID) is paying for the parking arrangement. Lorena Parker, who currently serves as the executive director for the Business Improvement District, said:
“I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a happy holiday season.”
As shops and business owners in the Studio City and surrounding area prepare for the holiday shopping season, local printing companies are likely to be kept busy as orders for catalog printing and other printing services come in. The holiday season is one of the busiest times of the year for many local businesses and retailers who take the opportunity to draw in extra holiday shoppers with advertisements and special promotions through the use of banner printing, flyer printing, and other advertising means.
The Studio City Business Improvement District is comprised of more than 150 property owners who are dedicated to improving the economic development of Studio City. making it a better place in which to live and work. The BID was founded in 1999 and has incorporated a number of improvement projects within the city, including beautification and cleanup programs and marketing initiatives to assist in the growth and development of the city’s business district.
