Sugar Land adds a new dimension to 2013 celebrations

December 29, 2012 by

Everyone is invited to Sugar Land’s New Year’s Eve Celebration, sponsored by the City of Sugar Land, as the evening has been divided into a children’s celebration from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and an adult celebration from 9:30:00 pm to 1:00 am, so everyone can come out and enjoy a great evening of fun and bring in the New Year in style. Poster printing may have been used to promote this great opportunity for families to come out and enjoy New Year’s Eve.

The celebration will be held in the Sugar Land Town Square and about 30,000 people are expected to attend and ring in 2013. There will be a fantastic live 3D show with great lighting and sound effects and, at the stroke of midnight, guests will watch an animation in which a gigantic 3D sugar cube descends from the clock at City Hall, crushing the building into rubble, although it will rebuild itself into a huge shark tank.

During this evening, the Play by Air comedy troupe will astound audiences with skits, magic, and outrageously funny performances. Burbon Street will be performing live and is a versatile band from Huston. There are all kinds of children’s entertainment, games, and activities planned for the evening.

Admission is free and everyone is invited to attend. Sugar Land’s New Year’s Eve Celebration will take place on December 31 at Sugar Land’s Town Square in Sugar Land, Texas.
