Painting cats and dogs in Sugar Land
June 20, 2013 by Sarah
At the end of this month, a painting class is being offered for adults and children over the age of 12, which will likely appeal strongly to lovers of art and animals.
Guests are asked to bring in or email a headshot picture of their favorite pet’s head, so that the artists who will be assisting have something to go by. Poster printing, flyer printing, and other printing services may have been used to advertise the ‘Paint Your Own Pet Dog or Cat’ class. During this class, the artists in residence will sketch guests’ favorite pets onto a pre-stretched canvas, so that they can begin to paint the picture on arrival.
All children must be accompanied by an adult and drop offs of children are not permitted. Due to the limited seating, all guests must register to attend and no refund will be provided to those who cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice prior to the class. Guests are asked to arrive approximately 15 to 20 minutes prior to the class starting, so set up time can be accommodated. As this is an adult painting class, participants can bring alcohol to consume during the session. The instructor for the course will be Melanie Low.
The cost of this evening course is $55 per person. The class will be happening on Sunday, June 30, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Painting with a Twist located at 3569 Texas 6 in Sugar Land, Texas. To learn more about this course or to register, please visit the Painting with a Twist website or call 281-491-9200 during business hours.
