Cross Creek Ranch home sales hit 1,000

If the names Cross Creek Ranch and Johnson Development sound familiar to Houston-area realty catalog printing services and Sugar Land home shoppers, there is a good reason – the planned community recently made its thousandth home sale.

Rob Bamford, the community’s general manager, credits proximity to Houston’s Energy Corridor, with its robust economic and employment prospects, as the main draw to the general area. When it comes to why so many have chosen Cross Creek Ranch, he elaborates:

“Families are excited to find such a fine community, with such a variety of home styles, price ranges, amenities and activities.”

Bamford cited the community’s large green belts as a major attraction, with natural wetland and grasses interspersed with bike trails, streams, and rivers. If a resident’s tastes are for a bit more human design, a water park, disc golf course, sport complex, fitness center, café, and dog park have them covered.

New homeowner Gracia Villasana, a former Atlanta native, enthused:

“The homes in Cross Creek Ranch are a good investment from first-class builders who really look into the details. We can’t wait to move!”

Cross Creek Ranch is one of Johnson Development’s three master-planned communities, established in 2008. Over four thousand home lots are still available on the nationally top-selling site, with house prices running from $240K to $560K. The community is also home to the largest group of model homes in the Houston area, with a half-dozen local builders offering fully-furnished houses. A gated community, The Lakes, is also available. This custom-home neighborhood’s lakeside views come at prices running right up to $1m.
