Young painters to make a special Spring splash

December 19, 2012 by

‘In the Ring II – Painting with a Twist’ has developed into an annual event that is great for the entire family and is sure to bring some pre-Christmas cheer.

This program is designed so that children and adults can have a great time and learn to paint a picture with a local artist. The step-by-step painting program will help produce some stunning pieces of artwork that will go home with students when the evening ends. Parents are invited to bring their favorite beverage or wine and enjoy watching their children work and participate, if they wish, in creating a painting alongside their young ones. The paint is provided, as are the canvas and brushes, and everyone who attends is sure to enjoy a wonderful day out. Paint aprons and wine glass will be provided as well.

This painting period is suitable for all ages, although it is recommended primarily for those over the age of six, and parents must be with children under eight. This is a two-hour session with a local artisan.

The project was probably promoted to parents and their children using poster printing services. The cost is $35 per person and all reservation will need to be paid online. The In the Ring II – Painting with a Twist session will be held on Saturday, December 22, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Studio located at 570 Sawdust Road in Spring, Texas. To register, please visit the Painting with a Twist website or call 281-465-4996.
