Weekend event to be pumpkin perfect

October 25, 2012 by

The ‘Pumpkin Patch at the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm’ takes place this weekend and should be a great family event, featuring everything related to the fall harvest season and Halloween. It is an opportunity to bring the family and share some greet weekend fun in the pumpkin patch – not forgetting picking up a pumpkin to carve for Halloween.

Now that the leaves are falling and Halloween is just around the corner, it is a great time to bring the whole family out to enjoy some great family activities at the Christmas Tree Farm, which has been converted into a pumpkin patch offering everything from train rides to hayrides for both kids and adults.

Entertaining activities will include duck races, an obstacle course, a giant slide, and many activities for children including games, carving, and face painting. Photographs of the children on the exhilarating rides are available, while food and various other seasonal vendor items will be available to purchase on the day of the visit.

Poster printing, postcard printing, and flyer printing may have been used to advertise and promote the Pumpkin Patch to members of the community and surrounding communities. Ride tickets cost $2 each or a value pack of 15 will cost $25. This is age-appropriate for 2-year-olds and up.

The fun gets going this Saturday, October 27, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm located at 7632 Spring Cypress Road in Spring, Texas. For more information, please visit the Old Time Christmas Tree Farm website or call 281-370-9141.
