Fundraiser to get 2013 off to a flyer
December 23, 2012 by Mark
Kicking off the New Year, The Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center Fundraiser is being hosted by ‘The Daffodil Dolls’ from the Baca Center, with the benefits going to support WilCo Children’s Advocacy Center. This fundraiser provides people with the chance to enjoy a wonderful afternoon while supporting a worthy cause.
The Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center is a not-for-profit organization created to provide a safe haven for the area children who report that they are suffering from physical and sexual abuse. This organization is located in a Victorian house painted in a soft yellow with a vibrant red door that makes the children feel welcome and warm. The fundraising initiative will be collecting teddy bears and raising funds, as well as awareness about the center. During the event, guests will enjoy a presentation and learn what this unique center offers in the way of services to the children who request their help. There will be live entertainment and refreshments available for all those who attend.
Poster printing was likely the chosen method of promoting this fundraising event to the people in this community and the local area. Admission is by a monetary donation, of any size, or buy donation of a teddy bear to the Advocacy Center. The Williamston County Children’s Advocacy Center Fundraiser will be happening on Wednesday, January 2, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the Allen R. Baca Center located at 301 West Bagdad Street, Building 2, in Round Rock, Texas. To learn more about this fundraiser, please visit the Williamson Country Children’s Advocacy Center website or call Carol Issacks at 512-218-5499.
