Richardson in for a Spanish session
June 8, 2013 by James
At the end of June, the ‘Cool School with Miss Maria Spanish Fiesta’ will give people the opportunity to learn some Spanish and enjoy some music. A great family event, it is designed as a learning tool for children between the ages of 3 – 10. Digital flyer printing and poster printing by local printing companies may have been the chosen methods used to promote this great learning experience to members of this community and the surrounding areas.
The school has a catchy theme song, to which Mom and Dad will no doubt be tapping their toes right alongside the children dancing, and all while learning Spanish through songs and activities. Some of the tunes are in English and Spanish and there will be spelling, snacking crackers, and a focus on the alphabet.
Funding for this program has been provided by the Friends of the Richardson Public Library and everyone requires a ticket to attend. There are limited tickets available, so be sure to stop in at the Youth Services Department on the day of the event to pick up a ticket. The teacher for this event is Miss Maria Smith, who is a mother, presenter, and author.
Tickets for this event are free, but must be picked up the day of the event. The event will be happening on Saturday, June 29 from 3:30 pm to 4:15 pm at the Richardson Public Library, Basement Program Room, located at 900 Civic Center Drive in Richardson, Texas. The library’s website has further info.
