Families welcomed to Santa’s Village
December 12, 2012 by Sarah
Coming into Richardson later this week, Santa’s Village will offer area families a chance to come out and enjoy some family fun while waiting their turn to visit with Santa and share their children’s wish list. During this event, parents are reminded to bring along their cameras and take some great shots of the kids with Santa.
During this piece of festive fun, volunteers will be costumed as North Pole elves and helpers. A stop at the village will allow people to view decorated houses, as well as to stop and chat with Santa. There will be a number of activities taking place each evening and parents are reminded that Santa’s Village is a ‘rain or shine’ event, so please dress the family appropriately.
Visits with Santa will shut down at 9:00 pm each evening, so the jolly old soul has time to get home and feed the reindeer each night. This venue features live entertainment and performances the whole family can enjoy. Santa’s Village will only be cancelled should there be the threat of hazardous conditions, such as lightning.
Poster printing and flyer printing were probably the choices used to promote Santa’s Village to local people in and around the area. Admission is free and everyone is invited to come. Santa’s Village will be open from this Thursday, December 13 to Sunday, December 16 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in front of the Richardson City Hall located at 411 W. Arapaho Road in Richardson, Texas. To learn more, please visit Santa’s Village website or call Richardson Town Hall.
