McLean holiday parade helps local charity

The McLean Winterfest parade is taking place in the city this December. During the parade, organizers will be asking for donations for Share of McLean.
The parade route begins at Fleetwood Road, travels down Old Chain Bridge Road, and ends up at Elm Street. It will begin at 3:30 pm. Along with the usual floats, dancers, and marching band, there will be food vendors along the route. Also, the parade stage will feature a gift box for spectators to donate gift cards and checks to the chosen charity.
Later on in the week, the 31st McLean Holiday Craft Show is taking place over three days. The show is set to feature over 80 artisans from all over the area and holiday music provided by local school choirs. It should be a good place to find a unique and handmade gift for family members or friends.
Those taking part in the parade might have considered investing in a banner to either hang on a float or for a marching group to carry. McLean banner printing companies will have plenty of experience is providing such products to those who need them.
McLean Winterfest is taking place on December 1 beginning at 3:30 pm. For more information, or to volunteer, call 703-917-0611.
