Mrs. Claus to keep kids occupied with stories

December 10, 2012 by

Tomorrow, Story Time with Mrs. Claus at the Parks will give all good little girls and boys the chance to come out to spend some quality time with Mrs. Claus in a shopping center. While moms and dads go shopping, children can listen to a special story prepared just for them. This year, the story is being read by Margaret Clauder – aka Mrs. Claus – and her wonderful puppet friends.

During the story time, Mrs. Claus will have a number of popular puppets on hand to help her with her story reading and all the children will stay merry while enjoying the story, singing songs, and telling tall tales. This presentation is sponsored by the Parks of Arlington and although no reservations are required, they are recommended. Guests planning to visit with Mrs. Claus are asked to gather on the lower lever, close to the Macy’s department store. Many activities and games will be available for the children’s entertainment and the room will be filled with Christmas decorations and music.

For this wonderful children’s visit with Mrs. Claus and her puppets, poster printing may have been used to let parents in the area know what is happening. This is a free event and all are welcome. Story Time with Mrs. Claus is happening tomorrow, December 11 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at The Parks in Arlington located at 3811 South Cooper Street in Arlington, Texas, down the road from Mansfield. To reserve a seating, please visit the Parks in Arlington website or call 972-574-3933.
