Mansfield to welcome happy-go-lucky country artist

June 6, 2013 by

People who expect country music to always be about exes and pickup trucks may be surprised by a performer coming to Mansfield this month, who has a reputation for changing this perception.

Country artist Gary Kyle is set to offer an evening out to music fans in the area, who should not be surprised if they discover that flyer and poster printing has been used to display the artist’s name in the community and the surrounding regions.

Kyle has used his music to overcome a great number of adversities in his life, as well as to inspire others with positive and lasting thoughts. His early life was beset with tragedies, as he lost his brother and father at young ages, but he believes that these events taught him that life is too short to be taken for granted, and his music is therefore about getting out there and enjoying what life has to offer.

He has released two albums based on this philosophy, with the names ‘Livin’ and ‘Turn This Life Around’ reflecting their positivity. Two singles from the latter album hit the top 25 list in the Texas charts.

Ticket prices vary and all adults are welcome. Gary Kyle’s performance will be taking place on Thursday, June 20, at 9:00 pm at Fat Daddy’s Sports and Spirits Café located at 781 West Debbie Lane in Mansfield, Texas.
