Mansfield Activities Center to hold its arts and crafts fair

May 18, 2017 by

Mansfield families are getting ready to attend the upcoming Wisteria Street Market, an arts and crafts fair held every May.

The juried vendor fair will be free and the first 50 shoppers will receive free market bags.

Statewide arts and craft vendors will be displaying and selling original, handmade items. Many will be distributing flyers and custom business cards to passersby for custom-made items or future purchases. Many booths will be manned by local businesses and organizations that will be offering make and take crafting activities. Kids will have their own special activities, and food trucks will also be onsite. Booths will be in the gym, and the four rooms inside the center. There will also be outside booths.

Each vendor will bring an item with a cash value of $15 to $50 for the silent raffle. Proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Keep Mansfield Beautiful.

This will be a good opportunity for the center to have a photographer take some pictures during the event to get photos to the printers before its monthly newsletter printing. Thee may also find their way into next year’s visitors’ brochures.

The event is slated for Saturday, May 20 at the Mansfield Activities Center, 106 S. Wisteria Street here in Mansfield. It will open at 10:00 am and close around 4:00 pm. The event will take place rain or shine.
