A chance to Zy-chek out some Mansfield music
August 8, 2013 by Mark
David Zychek will be giving a live performance as part of the Blue Monday’s series at Fad Daddy’s, with a selection of rock music from the 80s. This performer and songwriter co-authored five songs on the debut album of the group called Airborne, and will no doubt be the subject of poster printing to entice local music fans to the venue.
Zychek’s music is influenced by the 80s rock scene and, as a guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist, he has been instrumental in creating a number of musical scores with various groups. Using various techniques, the songwriter’s debut album was released through Columbia Records and offered a soulful approach to modern music.
His blues based rock music has touched the heart of many of his fans and is perhaps influenced by such Texas musicians as ZZ Top, Freddy King, and Johnny Winter, although notes of Led Zeppelin, Cream, and the Yardbirds can be argued to be present as well.
The night will feature a selection of high-energy rock music pieces with a touch of Texas blues and some distinctive vocals. During this performance, guests can also enjoy some great food and some exciting drink specials.
David Zycheck will be performing on Monday, August 12, beginning at approximately 7:00 pm at Fat Daddy’s Sports and Spirits Café located at 781 West Debbie Lane in Mansfield, Texas.
