Chance to celebrate Halloween with the City of Lewisville
October 19, 2013 by Lisa
Next weekend, the Spooktacular Trails Extravaganza comes to town, sponsored by the City of Lewisville Parks and Leisure Services, and invites everyone to come and join in some Haunted House fun. A child-friendly event, it is just the sort of event that often calls for promotional poster and flyer printing to spread the word locally.
During this event, families will enjoy a number of Halloween related fun activities and are encouraged to arrive dressed in their spooky Halloween costumes. There will be a kid-friendly haunted house, a wide selection of carnival games, a ghostly hayride, and trick or treating along the special haunted trail. Treats provided along the trail are courtesy of the local businesses, who will be handing them out.
Those who wear costumes can participate in the Walgreen’s photo costume contest and winners will be contacted the week following the event by the Parks and Leisure Department. Pictures can be purchased on Wednesday, October 30 at Round Grove and South Valley Parkway’s Walgreens. Concession Foods and beverages are available at a small fee, and participants are reminded to bring their trick or treat goody bags.
There is no fee to attend this event, which will be happening on Saturday, October 26 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Toyota of Lewisville Railroad Park located at 1301 S. Railroad Street in Lewisville, Texas. For additional information, please visit the City of Lewisville website, or call its office during business hours.
