December 15, 2012 by James
Humble has confirmed the 2013 date for the BBQ Cook-off and Rodeo. The BBQ cook-off will be held February 1 and 2 and provides live entertainment courtesy of Jason Cassidy and Kolby Gray. The performers will appear on the Bud Light Stage.
The BBQ kicks off a week of entertainment and fun, ending with the Humble Rodeo on February 8 and 9. Free food is offered in the Insperity Hospitality Tent. Insperity, along with other sponsors, participate in the event to help generate proceeds for the Humble ISD Education Foundation. The foundation provides students attending the Humble Independent School District enhanced opportunities in education. Each member of the staff is presented the change to request a grant for developmental programs, innovated projects, and other efforts to improve or enhance educational services and programs within the district.
Rodeo entertainment includes Josh Abbott Band and Dustin Lynch. Lynch is famous for his hit single “Cowboys & Angels.” These stars will perform during the actual rodeo weekend which is February 9.
Frequently rodeo or cowboy events like this partner with local printing services for creating and producing promotional materials. Most events like rodeos include vendor displays and exhibitions. Vendors often make sure that their business card printing is done so they have cards to hand out from their booths to encourage future business. Banner printing is also a common project for local print companies. Banners are used to direct attention and traffic to designated areas as well as advertise the event.
