Humble provides hearty holiday feast

The community of Humble is once again invited to celebrate the Annual Thanksgiving Feast with their neighbors at the Humble Civic Arena. Taking place on Thanksgiving Day, the three-hour feast aims to bring together local families, community organizations, and businesses for a day of fun and good food.

The feast will feature a traditional Thanksgiving menu, with a choice of roast turkey or glazed ham, several sides, and a dessert of pumpkin pie with ice cream. All the food will be provided by a local restaurant.

The meal will start at 11:00 am, but take out will be available for homebound community members from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. In addition to a filling meal, the feast will feature music performed by local entertainers. For the kids, there will be a magic show, a dessert walk, and goodie bags to take home with them.

The feast is free for attendees, but all are welcome to help by becoming a sponsor or volunteering that afternoon. This is the ninth year for the festival, and last year’s event drew dozens of families and over 600 volunteers. More information about the event, including sponsorship options and information on volunteering, is available on the Humble Thanksgiving Feast website.

A holiday feast is one way to bring community members together, and flyer printing services can help promote neighborhood gatherings and attract the sponsors and volunteers who make up the event’s success. A local printing company is a great resource for printing up the right promotional materials.
