Humble hosts the 22nd Annual LPG Charity Fund Fall Classic

Texas residents and visitors are looking forward to the 22nd Annual LPG Charity Fund Fall Classic coming up next week in Humble. This event is a ‘scramble’ tournament with a handicap adjustment set. Many contests will be included, such as ‘long drive’ and ‘closest to the pin’, with dinner and prizes also included.

The LPG Charity Fund exists to serve members of the LPG and Gas Processing Industry in assisting with catastrophic expenses, such as medical and financial, when the need arises. To date, over $950,000 has been raised for assisting individuals.

There is a non-paid board of directors, consisting of 25 people from 20 different businesses, which administers the fund and makes associated decisions.

The golf tournament is one of the main fundraisers of the year. The Fund seeks corporate sponsorships to help defray the associated costs of the tournament, allowing proceeds from the event to go into the LPG charity fund directly.

Local printing companies commonly work with event organizers for tournaments in preparing communication materials to advise the community about the event and solicit interest and attendance. Flyer printing is an effective method for creating a piece that can be produced en masse and easily distributed from many different sources. Flyers would probably include the event title, dates and times, location, and general details about the activity. They should also contain the contact information.
