Humble gets ready for mid-summer madness

May 25, 2013 by

It is only just over a month until the Mid-Summer Market will take place at the Humble Civic Center, focusing on high-end items like jewelry, furniture, decorations, cutlery, clothing, rugs bedding, and scents.

While these attractions keep the adults occupied, there will also be a children’s area that will feature bounce houses, a mechanical bull, games, and carnival rides. Daycare will also be available.

Live music will be presented, along with a wine walk, silent auction, and craft beer tastings. Over 90 vendors are expected to exhibit at the event, and vendors frequently utilize the services of a printing company to prepare materials needed for an event.

Banner printing is common so that items can be placed in the vendor’s booths showing the company name and what it sells. Business card printing is also a widely requested project, as the vendors usually like to distribute cards to entice visitors to purchase from them again.

Vendor applications can be made online via the venue website and consist of various options for a booth. Single or double spaces are available, as are simple or double end caps. Food vendors must have a local health food handling card. Tables, chairs, and electricity may also be reserved and purchased.

Entertainment will be provided by the Houston Mambo Jazz Kings in the Special VIP Lounge, which is open to everyone.

Proceeds from the Humble Mid-Summer Market will benefit local charities. The event will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 6, and more information is available at the Mid-summer Market website. To contact the event management office, call 832-753-3295.
