22nd Annual Christmas Parade of Lights about to illuminate Humble

November 15, 2012 by

Presented by the City of Humble Beautification Committee, the 22nd Annual Christmas Parade of Lights brings ‘An American Christmas’ to the city this December. It will be held on Main Street, which is a historic area in Humble.

The parade has grown to be a large event for the residents and visitors in Humble. Many sponsors, businesses, and locals support the event, as well as participating in the parade. Santa Claus is expected to visit children at Uptown Park at the conclusion of the parade, while local performers will be on hand to provide great family entertainment in the park.

Early bird registration is underway with the registration fee for participation set at $20. Registrants after November 21 will pay $35. The city is asking each person to provide one new unwrapped toy with a value of at least $5. Collection of toys will continue throughout the parade in the staging area. December 3 is the deadline for registration.

Organizers of similar parades frequently work with local printing companies for materials needed to promote and manage the event. Banners are a key communication component for parades as they are used on floats, as well as for directional and attention-drawing purposes. Flyer printing services could also assist in drumming up support in time for the event.

It is all set to take place on December 4, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The 22nd Annual Christmas Parade of Lights website has complete information available.
