Humble Golf Classic returning for a fifth year

January 11, 2014 by

For the fifth year in a row, the Humble Independent School District will be hosting its Golf Classic. The fundraising competition is still a few weeks away, but registration for golfers, sponsors, and donors who wish to participate is already open.

The event will take place at the Clubs of Kingwood. Local vendors will be manning tents displaying merchandise and other services from throughout the community and surrounding areas. The 18-hole competition will be the centerpiece of the day, but there will be a range of other activities available for all ages and skill levels as well. In addition, this year’s event will also have a ‘Premier’ competition available for players who are 21 years old and older, which will be played at Deerwood Country Club.

Anyone wishing to register for the Golf Classic is urged to do so soon, since the 2013 Golf Classic was a sellout. Registration includes range and cart fees, golf balls, various on-course activities, and meals, including lunch, snacks, and the evening dinner at the awards banquet. More information about the event is available at the Humble ISD Golf Classic website.

A sporty fundraising event for all ages is one way to bring the community together for a good cause. In order to promote events like this, sponsors will often consider partnering with a local printing company to create a promotional campaign that both catches the eye and provides all the necessary information about the event.
It takes place on Monday, February 17, beginning at 9:30 am.
