Vince Gill To Perform at the Arena Theater

April 24, 2012 by

Appearing live at the Arena Theater in Houston, Texas on August 9th is the legendary Vince Gill. Vince is one of the biggest names in Country music, and has worked in the past with legends such as Chet Atkins, Randy Scruggs and Rosanne Cash as well as having much success as an artist in his own right.

Vince is no stranger to music. As a child, he learned to play the fiddle, mandolin, bass, dobro, banjo and guitar. As a teenager, he was known to play in several bluegrass bands. Success hit one day when he was asked to be the lead singer for Pure Prairie League, replacing George Powell. He later sang with Reba McEntire and Barbara Streisand in separate songs. In 2005, Vince was added to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Vince is loved from all over the world; even as far away as Melbourne, Australia, so printing companies will have to keep up with the large demand of Vince Gill posters. They’re a hot commodity as fans are eagerly awaiting his upcoming performance in Houston, Texas. For those who can wait, fans will be able to purchase souvenirs from the concert at the Arena Theatre.

It’ll be 21 years since Vince hit it big. Vince’s performance last year at the Grand Ole Opry marked his 20th anniversary from the time he last performed there. This year is packed with tour dates for Vince as he travels across the US. Check him out at The Arena Theater, located at 7326 South West Freeway in Houston.
