The Experience Hendrix 2012 Tribute Tour comes to Houston

Coming soon to Houston, Texas, in the upcoming week, is the Experience Hendrix 2012 tribute tour. The Experience Hendrix is a bit of wordplay on the infamous deceased’s former band name. The Experience Hendrix 2012 tribute tour’s singers to appear in Houston include: Billy Cox, Buddy Guy, Dweezil Zappa and Robby Krieger of The Doors.

The event will take place at the Arena Theatre located at 7326 South West Freeway Houston, TX 77074 at 8 pm on March 22. The event is presented by Dunlop Manufacturing, Fender Musical Instruments, IK Multimedia and Hal Leonard Corporation. The Experience Hendrix 2012 will visit several other cities, such as Austin, Denver, Nashville and Miami, amongst many others.

The Experience Hendrix 2012 utilizes poster printing as forms of souvenirs, along with other merchandise for sale to purchase for those who have experienced Hendrix, notably t-shirts.

James Hendrix, Jimi Hendrix’s father, saw to it to how a tribute to his son in 1995. Every year since, several artists have helped to make this a reality.

The music of today relies heavily on the music of the past. The event is not only intended for people to hear some music, but to understand the significance of who Jimi was and the extent of his talent. He has indeed influenced many, such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lenny Kravitz and Outkast.
