LEGO KidsFest coming to Houston

March 27, 2013 by

The long anticipated LEGO KidsFest will be in Houston this May. The festival is a favorite amongst children and adults as it brings a great deal of fun, along with the opportunity to be creative and stretch minds in building with the famous blocks.

Many fun and interactive events will take place, offering something for all family members. The scheduled activities are included in the admission. The LEGO Model Museum provides an opportunity to walk amongst life-size models built entirely of the bricks. Miniature models are also on hand.

The LEGO Master Builder Academy provides kids with a chance to develop new skills and improve building efforts. It actually teaches basic engineering and design essentials, and offers workshops and accommodating up to 130 kids per class. Children aged seven and up may join.

The special LEGO activity area will present Master Builders, trivia, games, and other contests for all ages to enjoy. The audience will be expected to participate in the fun spirit of the activities.

Events of this size require good signage and other printed materials to coordinate the activities. Banner printing provides excellent pieces to place throughout the venue to highlight areas of interest and help with traffic flow. They can also be placed in parking lots to help mark off designated areas.

More information about the LEGO Fest can be found on the website. It takes place May 17 – 19 at the Reliant Center in Houston, beginning at 4:00 pm on Friday and 9:00 am on Saturday and Sunday.
