December 11, 2012 by

The classic musical, Show Boat, will open in Houston on January 18, 2013 with scheduled performances through mid-February. The book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II is being produced by Jerome Kern and co-produced with Lyric Opera of chicago, San Francisco Opera, and Washington National Opera.

The production is a story that follows The Cotton Blossom sailing down the Mississippi River as it brings musical entertainment to the various towns and villages along the way. The theatrical production will take place at Brown Teater, Wortham Theater Center.

Print companies frequently work with theatrical production companies in providing printing services for performances and shows. Catalog printing is a preferred method for creating a presentation piece for attendees at the events. Catalogs typically contain the entity’s information, schedule of events, information about performers, and special guests. Catalogs can also contain sponsor recognition details. Paid advertising space can also be sold to place in the catalogs for revenue generation

Flyer printing is also an effective way to advertise shows and performances in advance of the event. They can be easily transported to various locations and distributed from many sources. They can also be hung on walls, posted in windows, or direct mailed. Flyers can be printed in full color on one or both sides, or in limited color in large quantities.

Tickets are available for purchase online via the venue website up until 4:00 pm on performance day. For more information, contact the customer care center at the Houston Grand Opera, 713-228-7637.
