Houston tees off October with golf tournament
September 16, 2012 by Mark
The Rickmers-Linie Charity Golf Tournament is scheduled for early October at the Wildcat Golf Club located on Almeda Road. The tournament is the kick-off for the Breakbulk Americas Event.
The awards ceremony and lunch will be served at the conclusion of the tournament. Crescent Towing has generously provided prizes and the Houston Maritime Museum will receive the proceeds from the tournament. The museum strives to preserve maritime history, while also supporting marine industry development within the State of Texas.
There will be many exhibitors at the Breakbulk Americas events. Registration for exhibiting is open now and can be handled via the website. Sponsors are participating in the events as well, with sponsorship information also online.
Poster printing is a frequent order placed with printing companies for golf tournaments. Posters can be placed in many places throughout neighborhoods and cities to attract attention, boost participation, and increase attendance. They can be produced in large quantities and can be mounted to walls, pillars, or any flat surface. Posters can also be distributed at the event as a keepsake.
Anyone observing a golf tournament has seen the exchange of business cards amongst players and visitors. Business card printing is relatively inexpensive, with business cards being an important tool for introductions and marketing.
The official transportation sponsor, Palletized Trucking, will be providing transportation for the golfers. Pick up location is at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
The event takes place on October 9, with registration beginning at 6:30 am and, following a continental breakfast, the shotgun start begining at 8:00 am. For more details on the Rickmers-Linie Charity Golf Tournament or to contact organizers for the event, visit the Breakbulk Americas website.
